The legislative authority of the student body is under the leadership of the Student Body Senate, also referred to as the Senate. The Senate is charged to amend the SG constitution, recognizing student organizations through funding, approving fee increases, and vote on all SG issues. Members of the Senate represent specific populations within USF St. Petersburg community. The Senators represent the interests of their respective colleges.
