Born in Chicago, IL 8/15/84, Demerrio Tobler is the oldest of 2 children. He moved to the sunshine state in 1988, where he lost his mother of 11 years in 1995. Demerrio grew up to be a strong individual despite the lack of a male role model in his younger years. He received Christ in his heart in 2002. Since then he has matured in ministry, while working on his bachelors in Elementary Education. Demerrio has recently been ordained in the office as Deacon at the Holy Temple Cathedral Pentecostal Church in St. Petersburg, FL. He succeeded as Duke of USFSP Homecoming Court during his first semester in Fall of 2009. While attending USFSP, Demerrio has directly connected with the student body and administration through his service and tireless efforts of participating in community service projects with the Black Student Association, enriching the lives of the minority students through the multicultural advisory board (MAB), and supporting the Green Energy Fund, by writing letters, making phone calls, and creating videos to the states governors, beckoning them to take action to ensure the safety of animals and humans by promoting the importance of solar energy. Demerrio plans to teach 3rd or 4th grade and then later becoming a Boy Scouts of America Troop Leader.
